Strategically located in Aschaffenburg, the facility has a surface area of more than 4,000 m² for facestock, adhesives and linersBarely months after opening, intensive work is underway at the new Adestor by Lecta converting plant in Germany to deliver orders for the full range of self-adhesive materials produced by the company with optimal efficiency.Its location in Aschaffenburg, in the state of Bavaria, means that nearly all the major cities of Central Europe, including Berlin, Munich, Paris, Amsterdam and Prague, lie within a 500-kilometer radius. Its proximity to Frankfurt is another asset.The new slitting and distribution facility has a floor area of more than 4,000 m², half of which are used for a metal rack storage system with a capacity for 400 jumbo reels, over six million square meters of <a href="/_layouts/15/FIXUPREDIRECT.ASPX?WebId=ab4fa7a3-0634-4500-936f-c564acc72d36&TermSetId=df97ac4b-f748-499e-bb14-37fe224b64ce&TermId=91e5e440-408e-4225-b182-56b8c70afe94"> self-adhesive paper</a>.Production is carried out with two winders and a finishing line that includes a roll handler and packer, amongst others. Lecta commits to renewable gas and moves forward with its decarbonization plan

Its recent agreement with Naturgy will enable the integration of biomethane in the production processes at several of the company's mills in Spain. Lecta is pleased to announce an agreement with <a href="https://www.naturgy.com/en/" target="_blank"> Naturgy</a>, a multinational energy group, for the supply of renewable gas that will contribute to the decarbonization of its manufacturing activity. Biomethane gas, a renewable gas obtained from the treatment of different types of waste with properties similar to those of natural gas, will now be used as an energy source in Lecta's Spanish mills in <a href="/_layouts/15/FIXUPREDIRECT.ASPX?WebId=ab4fa7a3-0634-4500-936f-c564acc72d36&TermSetId=df97ac4b-f748-499e-bb14-37fe224b64ce&TermId=2b1d099b-69a2-4418-8725-860f3ce3b0d2"> Leitza</a> (Navarra) and <a href="/_layouts/15/FIXUPREDIRECT.ASPX?WebId=ab4fa7a3-0634-4500-936f-c564acc72d36&TermSetId=df97ac4b-f748-499e-bb14-37fe224b64ce&TermId=4e17943d-49ca-40ba-b1fd-cf55df4bad08"> Zaragoza</a>.The renewable gas supplied by Naturgy has certified guarantees of origin and sustainability tests that assure Lecta of the reduction of emissions derived from our industrial activity and the fulfillment of the sustainability commitments set in our 2030 Agenda.Lecta is firmly <a href="/_layouts/15/FIXUPREDIRECT.ASPX?WebId=ab4fa7a3-0634-4500-936f-c564acc72d36&TermSetId=df97ac4b-f748-499e-bb14-37fe224b64ce&TermId=69e355a0-181d-4ffc-a15d-87d2047058ea"> committed to sustainability</a>, energy efficiency and decarbonization.
