Objectives, commitments and achievements 2019-2020

Alto Garda Power

In each Environmental Report, Lecta lays out a series of objectives and commitments that will guide our sustainability priorities over the next two years. These include aspects related to certifications, climate change, reducing environmental impact, social responsibility and information transparency.

Once this period ends, a public review of each takes place, and progress made in achieving our goals and fulfilling our commitments is communicated with the greatest possible transparency.

This will entail annual savings of 65 tons of plastic shrink wrapping. The goal of substituting rigid packaging at the Almazán mill was met.
At the Leitza mill, it was ultimately rejected.
Achieved
Develop totally recyclable packaging paper with a water vapor barrier, with no plastic film, for internal use to substitute polyethylene film The new recyclable packaging paper was approved in 2020, and it was launched in the Adestor range. The previous packaging will be substituted gradually.
